As part of GDPR, all companies have to review how they manage all personal data from customer email addresses to employee bank details and ensure they are GDPR ready.

GDPR is one of the biggest changes to data privacy laws in 20 years and it comes into effect on 25th May, 2018.  GDPR is a great positive step allowing individuals to have more control over how their data is used.

At the TheAppBooth, we have reviewed and revised our existing data policies and procedures to ensure that data is adequately documented and protected. We have also carried out a comprehensive review of our information security practices to ensure data is adequately safeguarded.

“The key GDPR changes cover seven data principles and eight  individual data rights”

The seven data principles ensures data is processed lawfully, collected for specific purposes, adequate, relevant, kept up to date and appropriate security applied for compliance.

The eight individual rights of individuals include right to be informed, access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, portability and automated decision making and profiling
